Career Blueprint Intensive

One-day and three-day
career readiness programs
for college students.

A live, in-person career readiness experience that gives students the practical skills, tools, and confidence to know what they bring and show employers why they should be hired.

How Every Program Works

01

Prepare

Before the Intensive, students complete the CliftonStrengths assessment, reflect on their core values and purpose, complete a career readiness self-assessment, and bring a draft resume. They arrive ready to work, not just listen.

02

Participate

Students spend a full day on campus working in small groups with two experienced coaches and employer partners. The focus is practical, personal, and built around active participation.

03

 Practice

Students put the skills into action immediately. They practice introductions, tell their core career stories, and work through interview questions while receiving feedback from coaches, peers, and employers.

04

Connect

Employer partners are part of the experience, not just speakers on a stage. They interact with students, participate in the final mock interview round, and join a closing panel. Students get direct exposure to the people who actually hire.

05

Apply

The work continues after the Intensive. Within two weeks, students submit their stories and reflections and receive a personalized Career Blueprint portfolio. Follow-up at six and twelve months helps them turn what they learned into continued career progress.

Know Your Value.png
Know Your
Value

Students begin with a live CliftonStrengths debrief and core values exercise. They identify what they naturally bring to a workplace, how their strengths show up in the way they work, and what kind of organization is likely to be a strong fit.

The One-Day Intensive

One day on campus. A complete career-readiness experience students can keep using long after they leave.

Build Your
Search Strategy

Students learn how hiring actually works and how to build a search that goes beyond submitting applications. They learn how to identify target organizations, connect with real people, use informational interviews, and make customized introductions. They leave with a Proactive Search Loop they can continue using after the Intensive.

Professionalism isn't a lecture at the end of the day. Students practice introductions, first impressions, communication, and answering “Tell me about yourself” throughout the experience.

Build Your Four Core Stories.png
Build Your Four Core Stories

Students turn their experiences into stories that demonstrate what they can do. They develop four core career stories and practice delivering them through multiple rounds of mock interviews, receiving feedback from coaches, peers, and employer partners.

By the End of the Intensive, Students Can:

Explain what they bring by identifying their top strengths and connecting them to the workplace.
Use their values to make better career decisions and evaluate whether an organization is right for them.
Run a proactive job search that goes beyond online applications and reaches real people.
Tell compelling stories about their experience and connect those stories to the skills employers are looking for.
Present themselves with confidence in introductions, interviews, and professional conversations.
Evaluate potential employers by comparing organizations based on culture, people, and fit.

The Three-Day Intensive

Three days across the academic year. More time to practice, apply, get feedback, and build real career momentum.

What Students Build Over Three Days

A complete Career Blueprint portfolio with their purpose statement, four refined core stories, target organization list, network plan, 90-day action plan, and annual check-in.
A career search they've actually run, using real companies and real conversations.
Interview experience across multiple formats, with direct feedback from employers.
A stronger professional network, built through intentional conversations and employer connections.
Greater emotional and communication awareness, including how they respond and communicate under pressure.
Tools for navigating the harder parts of early careers, including rejection, silence, uncertainty, decision traps, and offer negotiations.
Experience presenting their value to employers, not simply talking about how they would do it.
A clearer understanding of where they fit and what they want next.

Built on Career Readiness Competencies

The Career Blueprint Intensive is grounded in the NACE Career Readiness Competencies, giving students a practical framework for developing the skills employers expect from new graduates.
